The skirmish began when Michigan players L.J. Cason and Durral Brooks stood near the Spartan logo during the ceremony. MSU senior Tre Holloman took offense, leading to a physical confrontation involving shoving and heated exchanges. Both Holloman and Cason received technical fouls as a result.
