🚨 BREAKING NEWS: After meeting with Nick Saban and U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, President Donald Trump is now reportedly preparing an executive order to reform college athletics and fix NIL.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Saban told Trump the current NIL system is “damaging” college sports. Trump agreed and directed White House staff to start drafting a plan.
Both Saban and Tuberville spoke to Trump last night ahead of his commencement address to the University of Alabama on Thursday. U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville flew on Air Force One with Trump to Tuscaloosa.
“Had a great conversation with President Trump last night about the importance of establishing national standards for NIL,” Tuberville said.
Former rivals on the football field, Tuberville and Nick Saban might have just teamed up to save college sports.
