Netflix Announces Release for Docuseries Chronicling Indiana Fever Women’s Basketball Legacy
Indianapolis, IN – Netflix is set to release a highly anticipated docuseries that delves into the rich history and legacy of the Indiana Fever, a professional women’s basketball team based in Indianapolis.
The docuseries, titled “Fever Pitch,” promises to take viewers on a journey through the team’s most memorable moments, from their early days in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) to their championship wins.

The docuseries features exclusive interviews with current and former players, coaches, and staff, including Fever legends like Tamika Catchings, Katie Douglas, and Stephanie White. The series also includes archival footage, behind-the-scenes access, and stunning visuals that bring the team’s story to life.
“Fever Pitch” is directed by award-winning filmmaker, Dawn Porter, who is known for her work on documentaries like “Gideon’s Army” and “Trapped.”

The docuseries is set to premiere on Netflix on April 15, 2023, and will consist of four episodes. Fans can expect a thrilling and inspiring ride that showcases the Indiana Fever’s impact on the world of women’s basketball and beyond.

Catchings, a four-time Olympic gold medalist and 10-time WNBA All-Star, played her entire 15-year WNBA career with the Fever, leading the team to their first WNBA championship in 2012.
