Update: OU Softball Kicks Off 2025 Season Undefeated in California

The No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners softball team has started their 2025 season strong, remaining undefeated after their first six games in California. The Sooners faced tough competition in the Golden State, including a nail-biting game against Long Beach State.

In their final game in California, the Sooners were locked in a 0-0 tie with Long Beach State. The game remained scoreless until the 11th inning when Oklahoma managed to score two runs, securing their victory and maintaining their undefeated record.

 

The Sooners’ strong start to the season is a testament to their talent and determination. The team is led by a group of experienced players, including senior pitcher Jordyn Bahl and junior outfielder Jayda Coleman. Oklahoma also has a number of talented newcomers who have made an immediate impact on the team.

With their undefeated record, the Sooners are looking like a national championship contender once again. The team will face many challenges throughout the season, but they appear to be up for the task.
